The road to Los Angeles
Miami United’s path to the National Final Four has been built through championship moments and performances under pressure.
The club first captured the UPSL Florida South Championship with a hard-fought 1-0 away victory against Florida Badgers, showing the mentality and discipline required in knockout competition.
The team then secured the UPSL Florida State Championship with a dominant 5-0 victory over PCU Pelicans SC, delivering one of the strongest performances of the season.
The final challenge came in the UPSL Southeast Region Championship against SCU Heat Carolina. After a dramatic 1-1 battle that lasted 97 minutes, Miami United prevailed in a penalty shootout behind a heroic performance from goalkeeper Franco Acerbi, who made two crucial saves before stepping up himself to score the decisive penalty and send Miami United to Los Angeles.

A Final Four rematch with the defending champions
Waiting in Los Angeles is a familiar opponent.
For the second consecutive season, Miami United FC will face New York Renegades FC, the defending UPSL National Champions.
The two teams last met in the 2025 Fall National Semifinal, where the Renegades ended Miami United’s championship run with a 3-0 victory.
That result has remained motivation for this group.
