Miami, FL — Miami United FC announces that Tony Iafrate has officially resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, concluding an important chapter in his long-standing relationship with Miami United FC.
Iafrate has served Miami United FC during two different periods. He first joined the club in 2018, serving as Sporting Director from 2018 to 2019. After returning to Miami United FC in 2023, Iafrate initially served as General Manager before moving into the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position, which he held through 2026.
The last three years have been particularly memorable, marked by numerous successes and important achievements for Miami United FC. During this period, the club celebrated multiple triumphs, enjoyed special and memorable U.S. Open Cup campaigns, and continued to strengthen its presence within the American soccer landscape.
Throughout his years with the club, Tony Iafrate dedicated himself to the sporting, organizational, and overall development of Miami United FC, contributing his time, passion, leadership, and commitment both on and off the field.
