One game from glory: Miami United FC reaches the UPSL National Championship Final
Los Angeles, California – Miami United FC is one victory away from becoming UPSL National Champion.
After an outstanding 3-1 comeback victory over NY Renegades FC in the National Semifinal at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus, Miami United FC has officially advanced to the 2026 UPSL National Championship Final.
On Sunday night, there are no more rounds, no more qualifying matches and no more second chances.
One game will decide the National Champion.

For Miami United FC, reaching this stage is not an isolated accomplishment.
The club has now reached the UPSL National Final Four in back-to-back seasons, demonstrating the consistency, ambition and competitive culture that continues to define Miami United FC.
Among hundreds of UPSL teams competing across the United States, Miami United has once again reached the final weekend of the national competition.
This time, the opportunity is even bigger.
Miami United FC will play Sunday for the National Championship.
THE NATIONAL SEMIFINAL: MIAMI UNITED FC 3-1 NY RENEGADES FC
Miami United's National Semifinal was a demonstration of character, patience and belief.
Playing under the California sun at Drake Stadium, Miami United entered the match with one objective: earn the right to play for a National Championship.
NY Renegades struck first and Miami United found itself trailing 1-0.
But this team did not panic.
Before halftime, Luis Peralta delivered the equalizer, bringing Miami United back to 1-1 and changing the momentum of the match.
Then came one of the defining moments of the entire season.
With the game still tied, goalkeeper Franco Acerbi saved a crucial penalty, keeping Miami United alive at a moment when the semifinal could have changed completely.
The save energized the team, and Miami United took control.

From 1-0 down to a commanding 3-1 victory.
When the final whistle sounded, Miami United FC had accomplished its mission.

Representing Miami and South Florida, Miami United FC battled through the UPSL postseason to reach the final match of the national competition.

QUALIFIED FOR THE 2027 LAMAR HUNT U.S. OPEN CUP
The National Semifinal victory brought another major accomplishment for the club.
Miami United FC has officially qualified for the 2027 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
The qualification provides Miami United another opportunity to represent the club and South Florida on one of the biggest stages in American soccer.
Two major achievements have already been secured:

THE OPPONENT: DEPORTIVO ROSE CITY
Standing between Miami United FC and the National Championship is Deportivo Rose City, representing Gresham, Oregon, in the Portland metropolitan area.
Deportivo Rose City has earned its opportunity to play for the title through an impressive postseason run and arrives at the National Final after defeating Central Kansas United 2-1 in the other National Semifinal at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus.
Rose City has demonstrated organization, discipline, resilience and consistency throughout its playoff journey and will present another major challenge for Miami United.
