From Academy to First Team: Miami United Launches Its Multi Divisional Project. A Real Pathway to the Next Level

Miami FL- Miami United FC is proud to officially announce the launch of the Miami United Multi Divisional Project, a major step forward in the club’s vision to build a complete and competitive player development system.

Expanding beyond the First Team and Reserve Team, the club now introduces two additional squads:

  • U23 Team

  • U18 Team

This four-team structure creates a clear, professional pathway for players to develop, compete, and progress within the Miami United system.

ONE CLUB. ONE PATHWAY. REAL OPPORTUNITIES.

This project is designed to give players a real opportunity to grow inside the club.

Over the years, many players from our Reserve Team have earned promotion to the First Team, proving the strength and credibility of our internal development model.

With the addition of the U23 and U18 teams:

  • The U18 Team becomes the bridge between the Academy and competitive football

  • The U23 Team provides a key transition stage into the adult game

  • The Reserve Team remains a proven stepping stone

  • The First Team represents the highest level of competition within the club

FROM ACADEMY TO FIRST TEAM A COMPLETE PATHWAY

The Miami United structure now offers a full progression model:

Miami United Academy → U18 → U23 → Reserve Team → First Team

From 17 years old and up, players now have a clear path to climb the ladder, with real opportunities to reach the First Team.

But the pathway doesn’t stop there.
