Miami, FL — It was a perfect weekend for Miami United FC, as both the first team and the reserve squad delivered impressive performances, continuing the club’s strong momentum across competitions.

First Team Extends Winning Streak in UPSL

Miami United FC secured a 3–1 comeback victory against City Soccer FC in UPSL Spring Season 2026 – Matchday 7, extending the team’s remarkable run to six consecutive league victories.

After a solid first half in which Miami United created several scoring opportunities but couldn’t capitalize, City Soccer FC took advantage of a late counterattack to go into halftime with a 1–0 lead.

The second half saw a completely different approach from Miami United. The team raised its intensity, controlled possession, and began to dominate the match.

Argentinian midfielder Matías Pourrain was once again decisive, scoring twice to lead the comeback and put Miami United in front. Since arriving at the club, Pourrain has quickly become a key player in midfield and a major addition for Miami United, bringing quality, leadership, and goals at crucial moments.

In the closing minutes of the match, Sony Norde sealed the victory with the final goal to make it 3–1, confirming another important win in the UPSL Florida South Conference.

The result keeps Miami United at the top of the table and reinforces the team’s strong form as the season progresses.

Reserves Shine in SPL Action

It was also an outstanding weekend for Miami United FC Reserves, who continued their strong start in the SPL (Soccer Premier League) with a dominant 7–0 victory over Deportivo Union in Matchday 2.

With the win, the Reserves now sit on 6 points from two matches, with an impressive 18 goals scored and only 1 conceded so far this season.

Under the leadership of head coach Sebastian D’Angelo, the team’s new project continues to show promising results, with an attacking style and strong collective performances.
